HO CHI MINH - MY THO - BEN TRE (B, L) Breakfast. 8:00 Departure by air-conditioned bus from the hotel to My Tho town. In My Tho, board a speedboat at the pier and cruise on the Mekong River. Here view of floating houses where fish are kept under the house (view from the motorboat). Continue your river cruise to Cồn Thới Sơn (Unicorn Island), where you will take a horse-drawn carriage to a place where Vietnamese traditional music is played (Đàn Ca Tài Tử - a folk art form from southern Vietnam that was accredited by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2013) and where you can taste seasonal tropical fruits (included). Afterwards, you will board a small hand-operated boat (the main means of transport in My Tho and Ben Tre) and slowly cruise through a small stream with beautiful overhanging coconut palms. From both sides of the stream you can observe life. You can see a typical Mekong house before heading for lunch, passing through a bee farm and enjoying honey tea. After a short walk, it is then time for lunch. After lunch at a local restaurant, we will board a speedboat and head to a workshop to learn about the production of coconut candy. You will be amazed by the beauty of the massive rocks with many shapes and stacked on top of each other. Hon Chong is a large rock that legend has it has traces of a giant hand, and Hon Vo is another rock that looks like a woman cradling her baby. Po Nagar Towers This special structure was built between the 7th and 12th century Chams (a time of prosperity for the Chams). The special structures and bricks have helped the towers to exist for over 1,000 years. Many scientists today have not yet unraveled its mystery. Visit the Oceanographic Institute of Nha Trang The Nha Trang Oceanographic Institute considered the largest repository and research facility for marine animals in Southeast Asia, currently holds more than 20,000 specimens of over 4,000 marine species in the South China Sea. Visitors can see many species of marine animals kept in the aquarium, such as sharks, sea lions, seals, sea turtles, demon fish, corals and sea anemones. Dinner of your choice.
