Mysterious Cambodia - Sightseeing tour for 13 days

Arrival - Siem Reap International Airport

Upon arrival, you will be met at the airport by our friendly guide and driver who will escort you to your transfer to your hotel (the journey takes approximately one hour). After check-in you will have free time to relax or do your own activities. Dinner is not included in the price. Accommodation in Siem Reap.

Siem Reap - Day trip (breakfast)

After breakfast at the hotel, we will make our way to the South Gate of Angkor Thom where you will be amazed by the massive statues with giant faces symbolizing compassion, balance and charity. You'll walk past Bayon Temple, famous for its more than 200 smiling stone faces, and visit other sights such as Baphuon, Phimeanakas, the Leper King Terrace and the Elephant Terrace. Next, we'll see Ta Prohm Temple, made famous by the movie Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, which is adorned with monumental tree roots. Lunch is not included.

In the afternoon, you will explore the iconic Angkor Wat, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the largest temple complex in the world. You'll marvel at its architecture, Khmer art and detailed reliefs as your guide introduces you to its fascinating history. Finish the day with a climb to Pre Rup Temple, where you will have a unique view of the sunset over the rice fields. Dinner is not included. Accommodation in Siem Reap.

Phnom Kulen & Banteay Srei Temple (breakfast)

After breakfast, we will go for a hike to Phnom Kulen Mountain where you will discover the 1000 Lingas River and the famous reclining Buddha from the 16th century. Hiking trails lead you to a picturesque waterfall that beckons for a refreshing dip. Lunch is not included.

In the afternoon, you will visit the magnificent red sandstone Banteay Srei Temple, called the "Citadel of Women", famous for its detailed 10th-century decorations. End the day with a short visit to a village dedicated to palm sugar production and handicrafts. We will also stop at the Banteay Samre temple, where a peaceful atmosphere awaits. Beng Mealea & Koh Ker Temple (breakfast)

Your day will begin with a meeting with your guide in the hotel lobby followed by a drive to the 12th century Beng Mealea Temple, hidden in the jungle. Along the way, you'll admire the beautiful views of rice paddies and palm landscapes, stop for a bamboo sticky rice tasting, and explore the local Dom Dek market where people sell their produce and exchange goods. You'll discover a hidden temple surrounded by vegetation that offers opportunities for interesting exploration and photography.

In the afternoon, we visit the Koh Ker Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This pyramidal temple with 7 floors, which probably served as the state temple of Khmer King Jayavarman IV, will impress you with its uniqueness. Return to the hotel. Dinner not included. Accommodation in Siem Reap.

Siem Reap - Battambang (breakfast)

After breakfast at the hotel, we bid farewell to Siem Reap and set off on a three-hour drive to Battambang province. Along the way, we will stop at a roadside where you will have the opportunity to sample fried crunchy insects such as crickets and grasshoppers. Upon arrival, you will check in to your booked hotel in Battambang and have free time at leisure.
*Note: If you are interested, you can visit Angkor Silk Farm along the way to see the silk making process and admire the unique products. Just consult with our guide.

In the afternoon, we will visit a traditional wooden house built during the French era more than a century ago. A short tour will reveal interesting historical background. Afterwards, we will visit the Battambang winery where you will enjoy a grape wine tasting. Afterwards, you will travel to Phnom Sampov where you will have the opportunity to climb to the top of the mountain to see the killer caves and hidden caves of Battambang. At the end of the day, we will enjoy the magnificent spectacle of thousands of bats on the hillside as they return to their caves at sunset. Dinner is not included. Overnight in Battambang.

Battambang bamboo train tour (breakfast)

After breakfast at the hotel, depart at 8:00am for a unique experience on the famous bamboo train. The ride on the rails allows you to admire the beauty of the Cambodian countryside. We will then visit the infamous Prohoc market, known as the "Fermented Fish Market". Here you will see rice paper production, taste Cambodian rice wine and learn about its production. Afterwards, we will visit the ancient temple of Wat Ek Phnom, an Angkorian building from the 11th century. Lunch is not included.

Afternoon tour of Battambang includes a visit to Phsar Nat Market, where you can browse local shops and sample local snacks. Next, we will see fascinating monuments of Khmer and French architecture, including the National Bank and a more than 100-year-old bridge. At the end of the day, we will visit the most famous statue of Ta Dumbang with a captivating legend that makes the place a religious center where people pray for good luck. Dinner is not included. Overnight in Battambang.
