You’ll also head out to the beautiful Tay Phuong Pagoda. You’ll then spend a night on a luxury junk boat cruising through the emerald waters of Lan Ha Bay before moving onto the charming city of Hoi An. Here you’ll discover wonderful architecture and bustling markets, and head out on a cycling trip into the countryside to get a glimpse of life in rural Vietnam.
Further south is the vibrant city of Ho Chi Minh. Uncover its fascinating history on a guided tour before taking to the water where you’ll spend three nights making your way down the Mekong River. Soak up the scenery and enjoy a really relaxing few days aboard your luxury boat. Your cruise ends in Phnom Penh, a city with so much history. Its past is difficult, but one that cannot be forgotten, and visiting the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and the Killing Fields is a sobering experience.
It’s then onto the magnificent Angkor Wat temples which are every bit as impressive as you expect. Enjoy sunrise and sunset visits and explore some of the lesser-known temples, too.
